Recruitment Genius is standing by its commitment of providing high levels of customer service by recruiting another customer service assistant to help their growing list of clients. At a time when businesses are looking to cut costs and streamline their workforce the online recruitment specialist has, instead, decided to expand its team with this valuable role.
The recruitment industry is fiercely competitive, particularly in the current economic climate. Therefore it could have made business sense for an online company to further increase its reliance on technology thus enabling a reduction in overheads. When you also consider that Recruitment Genius’ proposition is already incredibly competitively priced…£199 or less, they could have been forgiven for ways in which to increase margin. However, Recruitment Genius stands by its ability to offer a high quality service for this fee. Rather than automating the process to the point at which there is no human intervention Recruitment Genius operates to the contrary ensuring that the entire process is not only by ‘humans’ but highly skilled individuals with extensive recruitment experience.
Jade Darby, joins the business with extensive customer services experience having worked extensively in the hospitality field. Recruitment Genius is also doing its bit for the future of the economy as Jade is an apprentice. As the job market becomes more gruelling than ever there has been a return to the apprenticeship model which enables individuals to not only get academic experience but also vital work experience.
A report released by graduate market research company High Fliers showed that those most likely to get ahead in the recruitment process are people with work experience and demonstrable professional skills and that degrees alone are not enough to get graduates work in the gruelling job market.
Nearly two-thirds of the recruiters warned that candidates with no work experience had ‘little or no chance’ of gaining employment at their organisations. It is vital that graduates also have a variety of employability skills such as a willingness to learn, good social skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
Geoff Newman, Chief Executive of Recruitment Genius said: “Our commitment to providing excellent customer service is just that; a solid commitment which we stand by. If we don’t offer our customers high levels of service they won’t come back, it is as simple as that. Therefore we have created this role to ensure that, as we continue to grow, our attention to detail and emphasis on getting it right for the customer remains.
“The fact that Jade is an apprentice is an added bonus and further evidence of our belief in the importance of such a scheme. The current economic climate means that businesses are having to think long and hard about recruiting. A degree, or other academic qualification, is simply not enough to reassure businesses that the individual has the life and wok experience skills necessary to do the job.”
Jade Darby starts her role at Recruitment Genius on Monday 14th February 2011.
