A prestigious online recruitment agency is defying the odds through difficult times, with an important acquisition to celebrate.
The specialist online recruitment business, RecruitmentGenius.com, has acquired rival firm imarecruit.co.uk, for an undisclosed sum.
This is the second deal of its kind in the online recruitment agency sector in as many years, providing further testament to the momentum this sector is gathering. Online recruitment continues to grow as more and more businesses look for cost-effective alternatives to traditional methods of employment.
RecruitmentGenius.com Chief Executive, Geoff Newman, said: “We were the first player to really shake up the recruitment industry, but in order to maintain that competitive position, we need to stay focused and continue to gain market share.”
Imarecruit.co.uk was previously a national, multi-sector online recruitment agency. RecruitmentGenius.com will be working with imarecruit.co.uk’s existing customer base, and partners, to ensure a smooth transition process.
“The acquisition of imarecruit.co.uk enables us to expand our customer base and gain greater economies of scale. This will help us deliver even more cost-effective solutions for our customers,” Geoff Newman said.
Existing imarecruit.co.uk clients will benefit from RecruitmentGenius.com’s enhanced service offering, as well as a more favourable cost model. Rather than paying £499 to recruit staff, they will only be charged £199.
Since its launch, RecruitmentGenius.com has continued its rapid expansion, experiencing double-digit growth in recent months. Small and large businesses alike have been attracted to the streamlined, more cost-effective service that does not compromise quality or service.
To date, this impressive growth has been achieved organically. However, determined to achieve and maintain an even greater market share, RecruitmentGenius.com has set itself some challenging growth targets that will be achieved by the addition of some carefully selected strategic acquisitions.
