This company are developers of the UK’s leading software package for allied health professionals including physiotherapists, osteopaths, podiatrists and more - used by more than 12,500 practitioners and staff across 3,600 clinics around the world, a number which continues to grow everyday as they welcome new clients onboard!

They are looking for the right person to join their development team, working for an established, dynamic and very successful software company operating in a social, informal and lively environment.

The candidate will ideally have a couple of years full-time experience

What the role involves:

Working alongside a team of diverse developers, you will play an integral part in developing their core product range within the team, helping their products move forward utilising the latest generation of development tools and IDEs for PHP, JS, .NET, SQL and more.

Helping create new features, managing improvements and bugs and dealing with general framework tasks

Getting involved in regular code reviews

Working within the front and back-end of their applications which involves handling both business logic and database layers via their API

Working with other developers, managers, testers and designers within the development lifecycle

Reporting directly to the development manager in a small and social team of 10.

Essential skills and knowledge:

- OOP and MVC experience
- PHP 7.x
- JavaScript
- MySQL, MariaDB or similar
- Version control (GIT)

Other advantageous skills and experience:

- Laravel or similar PHP framework experience
- API Experience
- HTML 5 / CSS
- Knowledge of security standards
- RESTful API services (JSON, XML)
- Experience of Atlassian products
