This company is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated web developer with a few years experience under their belt, to join their team.

They are creating tools to help navigate complex issues in choosing vehicles, sorting out finance and ideally helping the environment.

Their automotive brand clients keep coming back to them for their comprehensive data, websites, plugins and tools.

Every member of the team brings something unique and gets their own key areas to look after, while still sharing collaborative core code between their many projects and the rest of the team.
They are a collaborative, supportive and open office.

You'll develop websites, tools and systems for both in-house and for automotive brands.

Your tasks will include
- Building responsive, performant websites
- Understanding and improving their internal database and API
- Expanding their new RESTful API
- Working with their data team on internal administrative tools.
- Liaising with clients from design through to deployment

You'll need:
- Knowledge of how a web page is put together (HTML/CSS/JS)
- Some server side scripting knowledge (such as Node or PHP)
- Experience with a Javascript front end framework (e.g. Vue/Angular/React)
- An affinity for writing efficient, DRY code
- A logical, analytical, programmer's mind.

Everyone who works there can cover the bases and switch jobs if there is a demand for it. You may spend most of your time writing code, but you could also be fixing the UI or looking for odd characters in the database.

Technologies change fast, so there is some legacy upkeep of old tools and code. Conversely there will be experimentation with new frameworks and methodologies.

They are offering £25,000 to £40,000 dependent on ability and experience.

Normal hours of work are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, but can be flexible.

Benefits and Perks:
- Supportive and social environment
- Pension, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme
- Customised sitting or standing desk
- Healthy work/life balance
- Free coffee and tea (including weird ones like green and fruit)
- Located on Whiteladies Road, Bristol
- Alfie the dog

It would be a benefit to your application if you can show them proven web or coding experience e.g. a personal portfolio, Github or Stack Overflow accounts.

If you like the sound of working with them then please send your CV and include portfolio links within the same document.
