This company are looking for a highly motivated full stack web developer to take charge of development at their well-established business based in Southam, just 15 minutes commute from Leamington Spa.
As a Web Developer, you will undertake front and back end development on a number of eCommerce sites within the health, medical and fitness industry. As well as being responsible for the constant evolution of the sites and ensure they maintain development best practices, you will be the development lead on all technical projects, starting with a new international eCommerce website. Day-to-day activities will include working closely with the Marketing team and providing technical support business wide.
To be considered for this role you must have a solid base in PHP Development and an MVC framework. You'll need solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery, Javascript, PHP and other development languages. Experience of Magento would be beneficial and an understanding of SEO is advantageous.
The successful PHP Developer will have the following:
- Commercial experience as an OO PHP developer
- Experience with REST/SOAP Web Service Integration
- Software development with web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, MVC, PHP
- Experience within MVC frameworks (Laravel / CodeIgniter / Zend / Symfony, Perl / Yii)
- Experience with integration and data transfer tools
- A solid understanding of UX
- A solid understanding of eCommerce systems, particularly Magento
- Ability to work under pressure and take the lead on technical requirements
