This company is currently advertising for a new role for a Warehouse Operative / Level 2 Warehouse Apprenticeship to join their successful worldwide logistics team. Continued professional development possibly up to and including Customer Service. No previous experience required!

Monday – Friday (full time)

7:00am – 4:00pm with 30 minutes lunch break

Wage begins at £7.00 per hour (above minimum apprenticeship wage)

Duties to include;

- Crane operation / Fork Lift training and license provided
- Stock rotation
- Booking in/out drivers load
- New delivery bookings
- Completion of inventory
- Health and Safety warehouse compliance
- Order picking
- Opportunity to travel internationally if required
- Above minimum Apprenticeship wage

Job Description

2. Reports To: branch management, clerk in charge, executives which the branch management commissioned
3. Classification of the job: according to organization chart
4. Necessary Training: driving trainer for fork-lift trucks, if necessary crane driver training
5. Target: careful and reliable handling of things in stock, safety of sensible goods (esp. animal feed grocery)
6. Tasks:
- use of loading facilities
- bundling loose loading units
- arranging deliveries, repacking and other similar tasks
- loading and unloading of loading equipment
- working with crane, fork-lift truck and motor tractor
- control of incoming and outgoing goods
- noticing and reporting changes of things in stock and warehouse equipment
- cleaning of the storage areas
- comply with hygienic directives when dealing with animal feed or groceries

Decision Making Powers: The job holder’s freedom of decision-making is limited to the tasks listed under point 6.
Towards their superior they is responsible for their decisions.

8 Information Rights and Duties: The job holder must obtain all information which is necessary for their area of responsibility. A continuous exchange of information with the superior takes place.

9. Further Remarks: The job holder’s freedom of action is only to be limited as far as it is necessary for a regulated cooperation.
