Based in Bromborough, Wirral this is an opportunity to join a fast-growing E-Commerce / Fulfilment company.
The Operations Manager will have complete responsibility for operations (Receive, Stow, Pick, Pack) within the warehouse. This is a newly created role due to expansion.
Main Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage a team of 20+ across two adjacent warehouses
- Improving Health and Safety standards, while promoting a positive Health and Safety culture
- Lead on numerous process improvement projects, with the aim of streamlining all activities, both for yourself and the team members you manage
- Work closely with others on staffing plans, schedules and performance levels
- Drive continuous process improvement, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors and make our customer experience better than ever
Experience / Skills:
- Previous experience in leading large teams
- An impressive track record in a fast-paced logistics, distribution or manufacturing environment
- Possess a grasp of Kaizen and Lean methodologies and related techniques
Salary: £22,000-£30,000 dependent on experience
