Waiters
An opportunity to work at one of the most prestigious Mayfair Casinos in the Food and Beverage team is now available. They are seeking Food and Beverage Waiters to support the team to deliver service excellence and be responsible for:
- role modelling their customer service values
- delivering quality, timely and accurate service
- anticipating, meeting and exceeding customers needs
- taking and processing orders, basic bartending (training available); both restaurant and gaming area service
- preparing equipment, station, stock and Food and Beverage areas for service
- ensuring Food and Beverage areas are presented clean and in working order and performing tasks in accordance to food hygiene standards
- communicating effectively and knowledgably regarding specific events.
Desired Skills & Experience
Essential:
- exceptional probity and credit clearance
- offer suggestions by using suggestive selling techniques (daily specials, cocktails, appetizers, main meals, desserts, and after meal beverages)
- proven customer service experience and attention to detail in a hospitality environment
- exposure to and proven ability to work in high pressured work environments
- effective time management
- excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
- professional attitude and a ‘can do’ approach to tasks; dynamic and engaged approach to work
- ability to work shifts, including nights, weekend shifts and bank holidays.
Desirable:
- experience in a high end/premium service environment and an understanding of the Casino and Hospitality industry or a keen interest in the industry; and
- experience in fine dining and silver service (training available)
- an appreciation, tolerance and understanding of different cultures and diversity.
You must over 18 and be eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom.
