This is an opportunity for an experienced, and motivated UI Designer to join this full service agency based in the heart of Leicester.

This role is an exciting opportunity to work within their close knit design, projects and digital marketing team, reporting into the Head of Digital Design, you will be joining a skilled, committed and friendly team.

Split across offices in Leicester, London, Asia and the US they work with some of the best known, exciting and interesting ecommerce and cultural organisations.

Their UI designers work with our UX and project delivery teams to create high performance ecommerce designs that delivers best in class customer experiences online. You’ll be creating UI designs that inspire, engage and convert visitors to customers: you must be passionate about this.

You will;
- Work across multiple projects, executing the creative UI from data driven UX wireframes, in line with customer brand guidelines
- Lead by example, setting the benchmarks for contemporary ecommerce website design
- Adopt a creative and innovative approach to keep our clients at the forefront of ecommerce design trends, demonstrating a desire to to research and champion emerging UI design and technology trends.
- Work closely with UX design team.
- Help shape and improve internal processes to evolve our ways of working and in-house efficiencies.
- Promote best practise UI design guidelines and ecommerce conventions
- Help drive forwards our creative culture by being a passionate advocate of all things design.
- Collaborate with project and development teams to ensure your designs are implemented to a high standard.
Involved in design pitches to clients
- Mentor, coach and develop the current junior UI Designer.

You’ll have:

- A strong understanding of visual and user centred design and how design can achieve strategic, brand and business objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Capable of articulating concepts, rationale and ideas
- The ability to strongly present and sell your solution to stakeholders.
- An organised and structured approach to work as well as the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines: an obsession with the finer detail!
- A proactive, self motivated individual who can prioritise a varied workload
- Minimum of 3+ years agency experience and with a degree in graphic design or related area: a mastery of Invision, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator..
