This is an excellent opportunity to work in a construction office environment with a well-established team and experience all aspects of a construction office.
This company specialises in the supply and installation of suspended pre-stressed concrete floors and precast concrete stairs.
The successful candidate will prepare quotations from the customer’s specifications and or Architects and Engineers drawings which may involve the take-off from plans or from BOQ.
Review customer’s specifications within the tender drawings to fully understand the requirements of the client in order that we can cost and respond accordingly.
The role will require you to communicate over the telephone and via e-mail with clients, update database and produce quotations. Ensure handover of awarded tender to designer is thorough and documented.
Progression for the right candidate is available and Bonus scheme will be implemented.
All aspects of the role will be supervised and full training will be provided.
Knowledge of computers is essential and experience in using CAD would be an advantage.
Skills required:-
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to multi task and have the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- Construction and precast knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
