They are looking for a skilled backend software tester who can test the more technical aspects of their product.
Responsibilities
- Analysing the product requirements and producing test plans will be a large part of your role. You will be guided by their highly experienced team to make sure your test scripts follow sound methodologies.
- You will conduct functional tests using manual test scripts across the development lifecycle within a Scrum development environment.
- You will be responsible for creating test harnesses for backend code that does not have a user interface
- As part of this testing you will identify defects in the software and work with the development team to resolve them.
Requirements
- Must have a good understanding of C#, MongoDB and PostgreSQL and can demonstrate at interview
- Must have knowledge of API testing and can demonstrate at interview
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate findings articulately.
- You can demonstrate evidence of problem solving and developing creative ideas to support company growth
- You have a results oriented approach to all work with a continuous improvement mindset
- Must be a UK resident
