This position is for a maternity cover (9 month contract) to the end of March 2018.
This friendly busy firm of Chartered Surveyors & Property Consultants based in the City of London, is looking for a bright, friendly and well organised individual, to provide secretarial and admin support to a busy team of surveyors, including Partners.
They are able to offer either a 3-day week (Tues, Weds, Thurs) or a full 5 day week (salary pro rata)
Working hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm, with one hour for lunch.
Key responsibilities (alongside one other secretary) include:
- Document production, audio typing using digital dictation, letters, invoices, reports, minutes, e-mails, mailshots, property particulars and other documents as required, using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and some PowerPoint.
- Answering incoming calls and liaising with clients, greeting visitors, providing refreshments, booking meeting rooms and managing electronic diaries, accepting deliveries, opening and distributing post.
- Setting up files and maintaining the electronic filing system.
- Assist with posting company information on social media platforms and help in the production and circulation of our Newsletter.
- Organising team / company events, as and when required.
