A well know retailer based near Yeovil currently have an exciting opportunity for a Store Manager to join their team. As a strong leader and successful motivator you will be responsible for store profitability by achieving budgets, maximising company promotional opportunities and driving sales through the implementation of new commercial initiatives through local promotions and generating local PR.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading by example and championing their company values
- Staff management
- Identify opportunities to increase sales
- Guiding the team to ensure high standards of visual merchandising and ticketing are achieved
- Improving profit contribution performance
- Managing the stocktaking programme
- Ensuring all legal and Company policy requirements are carried out
- Ensuring high standards of housekeeping are maintained in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and Company procedures
- Take charge in an emergency situation and comply with Company procedures
- Adopt a focused approach to Store Planning by assisting in the preparation of outline and detailed plans showing costs, projected contribution gains and proposed layout
