One of the leading and fastest growing horticultural companies in the UK is currently looking for competent Stock Co-Controller (Mat cover) This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most progressive fast moving consumer goods companies in the UK.
You will facilitate the smooth running of the Distribution Operation, from control of purchasing, product set up, assisting with Goods in and Returns through to the flow of customer orders across all Dispatch Sites.
Responsible for:
- Responsible for generating dispatch notes from their Stock Management System for the main Warehouse and all Direct Dispatch Sites. Ensuring orders are generated and dispatched within the delivery timescale promised to their customers.
- Ensuring products are set up accurately on their system, both in terms of core set up with accurate and up to date product weights.
- The placing of purchase orders, chasing of stock deliveries and as required the booking in of deliveries, maintain a good paperwork trial to enable matching of deliveries to supplier invoices.
- In conjunction with the Buying Assistant ensure stock levels are always maintained by regular monitoring and accurately forecasting requirements with the target of achieving 100% stock availability all year.
- Regular liaison with all DD suppliers on available stock quantities and quality, updating the system as necessary.
- Inform the Distribution and Customer Services Teams of outstanding orders available for dispatch and any stock issues, to ensure their service levels are maintained. Maintain details of any product “pick arounds” and chase through with the buyers.
- Create Purchase Orders and dispatch notes for Dropship orders, ensuring the fewest number of shipments.
- Ownership of ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained at all times, with responsibility for annual and ad-hoc stock takes, warehouse setup and QC checks.
- Assist the Operations Manager and the Finance team in creating meaningful reports and production KPI’s.
