An opportunity to join a fast growing SaaS company specialising in address capture and validation. Their products incorporate data from a variety of sources around the world and deliver it via a high-availability web service. Their clients include some of the best known brands and range from ecommerce startups to FTSE100.

Their API is hosted on Amazon EC2 and Rackspace cloud platforms and is built with a mix of open-source and proprietary technologies. It is fast, resilient and scalable. They looking for an experienced and motivated developer who can hit the ground running.

Your Role
- Participate in the entire life-cycle of their core API platform
- Benchmark and optimise the indexing and search algorithms
- Design and maintain platform automation and monitoring systems (DevOps)
- Keep abreast of new, relevant technologies
- Collaborate with clients on integration projects
- Brainstorm and prototype new product ideas

Required Skills
- Solid working knowledge of PHP and the LAMP stack in general
- Experience of using server-side frameworks
- Experience of building and consuming web APIs

Desirable Skills
- Experience of handling large data sets (indexing, searching, retrieval)
- Experience of full text search (algorithms, engines)
- DevOps experience
- Front-end libraries and frameworks experience
- Broad knowledge of server side languages and frameworks
