They are currently recruiting for a new position, the role of Digital Project Manager & Magento Developer to join their growing team based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

Currently their web development department is made up of an internal talented and enthusiastic team, plus additional outsourced resources. They are looking for an experienced senior magento developer and team leader, with a proven track record to lead this team to new heights, deliver projects in a timely fashion, expand the team and grow their business.

Responsibilities
- Lead magento developer and development team manager
- Ownership of projects budgets, scope, resourcing, tracking and documentation
- Manage 3rd party relationships, identify and mitigate risks associated accordingly
- Proactively collaborate to the project management team excellence
- Schedule work for internal and external team based on priority and skill set
- Mentor/guide/instruct junior team members
- Check that tasks/projects completed correctly and to company standards
- Technical liaison between developers, account managers

Technical Skills Required

- Core skills - full Stack, Magento 1 & 2 Development
- WordPress Development
- PHP with MySQL
- Advanced HTML/CSS
- Continuous deployments using JIRA, GIT (BitBucket)
- Website speed optimisation using advanced caching technologies such as Varnish
- Define the architectural approach and develop the integration between Magento 1 and 2 and 3rd party applications
- Hosting – create hosting, create ftp accounts, setting up SSL’s,
- SendGrid and email delivery
- Mailchimp, create templates
- Amazon and eBay integration for Magento and WordPress (M2E Pro)
- Experience / Knowledge of ERP Systems

The ideal candidate will be a team player, hard worker, and able to identify customer needs and exceed client expectations through excellent organisation, communication and project management.

Education
- GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English grade C or above
- A levels grade C or above
- Degree desirable but not essential
