Sales Administrator/Trainee Account Manager
Due to expansion, a sales administrator/trainee account manager is required to join one of Scotland’s top digital print & mailing houses, based in Edinburgh.
Initially you will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support to their account managers and responsible for answering calls, booking in deliveries, preparing paperwork including agendas, notes, reports etc. You will also be required to liaise with their production teams on a daily basis.
As you gain more experience of the business, you will take on the role of trainee account manager. This will involve managing client relationships, as well as developing new business with existing clients. You will also be required to provide high level support to their external sales team, providing them with relevant information and quotations as requested.
As an account manager, you will serve as the ‘face’ of the company. It is important for an account manager to deliver and maintain a positive customer service experience at all times.
For this role you should have:
Mandatory
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A polite, friendly and diplomatic manner
- Competent Outlook and Excel computer skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to prioritise and manage workloads
- A keen willingness to learn
Desirable
- A basic knowledge of print and/or mailing
- Some minute taking experience
- The ability to generate ideas
- A good sense of humour
