This is an opportunity to join a family owned business with a passion for fresh food and fantastic customer service with an emphasis on keeping alive all that is great about the traditional English pub. Now in their second year of trading they are working towards their first rosette and beyond.
You will be responsible for all areas of customer service from greeting customers to maximising sales, ensuring the smooth running of an often busy service.
Many of their customers are locals who love to return to a familiar, caring face, you will be able to give them individual attention without pulling focus away from any other customers.
Capable of inspiring and training members of the team, communicating successfully with customers, kitchen team, FOH team and management.
Assisting with the ordering of FOH stock. Ensuring open and closing checks are completed.
You will have previous experience in a similar style of business, preferably of a 1 or 2 rosette standard.
You will have a good general understanding of wines and beverages, able to make recommendations to customers and capable of understanding their menus in order to assist their customers with their choices.
All of this you will be able to do with personality in a calm and relaxed manner, ensuring their customers receive a first-class experience that exceeds expectation.
Salary & Benefits:
- Up to 26000.00 per annum.
- Straight shift, approx. 48 hours per week

Rural location with good bus routes to Oxford and Chipping Norton but car ownership an advantage.
The ideal candidate wanting to take advantage of the rentable accommodation will be part of a couple (chef also required)
