They are seeking dynamic and ambitious R&D Tax Financial Consultant with a recognised tax/ accountancy qualification and experience in working in R&D Tax relief field.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills (both spoken and written), people skills with proven track record of managing several projects simultaneously, managing clients’ expectations and meeting deadlines.

You will be actively involved in managing/supervising mid-junior consultants and training new less experienced R&D consultants as well as providing input to the business development team on the complex legislative concepts and communicating these to a wide variety of audience in a non-technical way.

As Managerial/ Senior Consultant, you will have:

Extensive experience in preparing successful R&D tax relief claims (preferably over 2 years).
Preferentially have a recognised tax/accountancy qualification
High reliability and excellent attention to details is crucial
Proven experience of managing several projects simultaneously and managing clients’ expectations with a track record of meeting deadlines
Excellent communication (both spoken and written) and people skills with the ability to analyse complex legislative concepts and communicating these to a wide variety of audience in a non-technical way
Willingness to travel within the UK - to clients' premises for meetings and on-site meetings and as needed.
Work with Business Development team to provide inputs on key leads and attending suitable meetings

Main Responsibilities will include:

- Project Lead/Manage the entire client delivery process from initial research through to finalisation
- Ensuring R&D claims meet the requirements of relevant tax legislation and guidelines
- Line-management responsibilities for junior staff
- Meetings/discussions with clients to identify qualifying R&D projects and expenditures
- Work with technical team to perform technical assessments and develop technical narratives
- Reviewing technical and financial assessments prepared by other members of the team
