The role will be working within Operations Department and required to take responsibility of projects based across the UK. The successful candidate will be managing various contracts ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, to budget and with high levels of client satisfaction.

a) Responsible to: Project Manager
b) Responsible for: Ground staff and junior members of the Operations Team

- Planning of projects, including the identification of technical requirements, solutions, resource and assets, ensuring commercial considerations and constraints are included in the overall planning process.
- The identification and allocation of suitably competent personnel for specific project roles, including overall project manning. Also providing continual man management of personnel.
- The provision of technical support and direction to all site supervisors and operatives throughout the duration of projects to ensure the works are carried out expediently, to the required standard, within the timeframe and within budget.
- Ensure the provision of project documentation; either by creating/writing the required documents or nominating another under their control and continue to control the quality of all issued documentation.
- Overseeing the procurement and management of suppliers; including the negotiation of cost/price, standards required, delivery of services and equipment.
- Review client contracts and negotiate terms with the client based the company’s contracts parameters.
- Ensure all projects assets and equipment are identified and allocated, ensuring that all equipment for individual projects are scheduled and ordered in good time for delivery in accordance with the project operational requirements and budget constraints.
- Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.
- Ensure that each statutory compliance obligation is invariably met with regards to applicable plant and equipment
- Liaison with Projects Manager to ensure all conditions of the contract are being met and there is efficient and effective utilisation of labour, materials, plant and equipment within the allocated budgets
- Manage and monitor site activities and physical progress of work for site safety, quality and environmental responsibilities

Key Skills
- Previous experience within contract management
- Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Confident oral and written communication skills
- Financial and commercial awareness
- Communicate effectively with all those who have a stake in the work
- Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines
