This specialist printing business is looking to recruit a Production Planner. Their team print innovative and well designed products and packaging for the retail and membership markets, using state of the art machinery. With a client list including many major retail brands, they are well respected in the market, known for their service and quality.
The planning role encompasses a key element of their business: making outstanding products to tight deadlines utilising knowledge of an experienced team to achieve this.
You will be exposed to all levels of leadership and all functions of our business, working closely with each to ensure that prospective schedules right through to deliver are planned and resources are juggled to meet customer deadlines.
The role involves leading daily planning / production meetings in addition to responding to scheduling requests and trouble shooting production issues.
Knowledge of printing and packaging would be hugely beneficial, however a strong background in production planning for high volume fast paced manufacturing would also be relevant. You should be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel, databases and software as tools for planning.
Basic salary dependent on experience of between £40,000 to £50,000 is available to the right candidate. They have parking on site, and a range of other benefits.
