Production Operative

Salary £18,000 - £20,000 + £2,800 shift allowance + potential overtime + generous bonuses
A Production Operative is required to join this leading supplier in rolled lead sheets, and flashings. The successful candidate will form part of the production team and following in-house training, operate automatic saw lines and have the potential to progress to operating rolling mills. Applicants should be fit, have an aptitude for manual work and have previous experience of operating production machinery.
A fork truck licence would be advantageous, but not essential. This is a permanent position, which would suit a reliable person to fit into our metals manufacturing operation.
Applicants will have the ability to work on their own initiative and have a good attitude to teamwork as well as good health and safety awareness.

Hours of work are a 2 shift system 6.00 – 14.00/13.30 -21.30 alternative weeks. Occasional weekend work paid as overtime maybe required.
