An exciting opportunity to join an Oak Flooring Manufacturing Company (medium sized, 15 operators)that is rapidly expanding.
You could be an experienced supervisor/foreman from a manufacturing background looking for that next step or an experienced production manager looking for a challenge.
The Role
- Work closely with supervisors and senior management to provide leadership and motivation.
- Training and development.
- Effectively manage labour resources to ensure products schedules/time adherence.
- Actively reduce waste within the manufacturing process.
- Encourage a Right First Time attitude.
- Set clear targets for the manufacturing team ensuring the team understand their roles ans accountability.
- Productivity- continuous monitoring.
- Quality- continuous monitoring.
The Person
The successful applicant will have
- Can do attitude.
- Be computer literate.
- Production line experience.
- Be numerate and able to deal with labour and materials
- Have stock control experience.
- Be Health and Safety conscious.
- Forklift Ability.
- Must be able to communicate at all levels
