An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company based North of Oxford in modern new facilities. This is a new role in the product management department for a Development Engineer to manage and deliver against key aspects of their product development and engineering strategies.

Candidate Profile
This is a full-time role. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues in operations, marketing, their customers, and manufacturing and engineering businesses to design innovative systems that solve major challenges in food safety and hygiene.

Essential Skills Required
- Several years working experience within product design, development or manufacturing, ideally within a regulated sector
- Electrical/Mechanical/Design Engineering Degree
- Experience within a technical product environment and in dealing with effluent water issues
- Strong understanding of project management principles and technical documentation
- Appreciation of innovation processes and technology management
- Confident CAD skills, Solidworks preferable
- Computer literate – strong Excel and report writing skills
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for stakeholder co-ordination between customers, engineering and manufacturing partners
- To lead design and development projects
- Manage and generate product documentation (e.g. requirements specifications, validation and verification protocols, etc.)
- Provide product and technical support to rest of the business
- To participate in continuous improvement activities
- To work with internal teams to ensure all new and existing products meet regulatory and customer requirements
- Ensure that all products meet the required standards for CE certification compliance
