This company is a fast growing rental business in the events and exhibitions sector, they currently have an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking Operations Director. This permanent position is well suited to individuals with an extensive background in logistics and technology.
How do they store and prepare their products and then get from their warehouse to their customers and back again in the most efficient way with zero damage? Finding, creating, and implementing systems, processes, and new technologies to help solve this problem will be your overriding objective.
As the head of the operations team, you will have overall responsibility for the warehousing and transport divisions of the business. Anything to do with how they store, move, and track their products falls within your remit.
- Extensive experience at director or senior management level in operations
- Formidable understanding of technology and systems implementation
- Excellent understand of stock control systems and processes
- Excellent IT skills
- Impressive people management skills and experience
- CIPD qualified
- Experience in rental or events/exhibitions sectors
- Experience working with development teams
