Working to a high standard of Building Maintenance and installation Engineering on various sites in North Devon and throughout the south west.
This company requires a fully reliable, self motorvated time Served mechanical Engineer who can work on their own initiative or within a team environment.
Who can produce high quality reports of their findings along with estimates and sourcing of parts as required
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
- To be responsible for minor installations and maintenance at various sites to include mechanical & piped systems (Water, steam, compressed air and Gas*) * desirable
- To be able to diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant.
- To be able to plan small works, specify and source materials / parts.
- To have the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- To have experience with most of the following;
Piped systems
- Steam raising plant
- Air Handling Units & Thermal Wheels.
- Compressed air systems.
- LEV's
- Commercial heating systems.
- Pumps.
- Drainage.
- Water Treatment.
- Fuel delivery systems.
- General Handyman duties.
- Cross trade work, when required.
What you'll need to succeed
- A recognised industry Mechanical qualification will be required, and previous experience is essential.
- References
- Plumbing & Pipework experience.
Desirable but not essential.
- IPAF
- Health & Safety Awareness
- Legionella Awareness
- Commercial gas safe
- BOAS
