At this company, marketing is about being orange. No, no, let's start again, it’s about understanding law firms and building awareness about how their products/services can satisfy their needs and planning campaigns to sell specific services to specific segments of the legal market.

They’re looking for an experienced and versatile marketer who is hungry to do this and more.

Their ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. You will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, planning and executing tactical campaigns and in conjunction with the MD, setting long-term strategy.

Responsibilities
- Develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-­facing communications
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
- Manage content and updates for the customer and internal touchpoints, establishing budget guidelines, participating in event and documenting business processes
- Gather customer and legal market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
- Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis via the CRM system

Skills and Qualifications
- Degree/CIM qualification in marketing, business, or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (there is a proof-reading test)
- Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns as, in conjunction with the MD, you will be responsible for planning the c. £100k pa marketing budget
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (preferably Mailchimp, CANDDi and SuiteCRM)
- Minimum of two years experience in people management (you will have one direct report)
- Understanding of different digital marketing and web development practices
- Problem-solving / troubleshooting skills
- A good, and we mean a really good, understanding of Excel
- Event management and being able to travel to manage their presence at events occasionally. Sometimes this may involve out of hours travel

Desirable
- Knowledge of WordPress or similar Management Systems
- A basic understanding of the legal market, trends and services provided by lawyers/solicitors
