This is an opportunity to join a unique family run business supplying machinery, moulds, equipment and ingredients to the chocolate, confectionery and bakery industries. They are a small dedicated team and have just moved into brand new air conditioned premises with free parking. Own transport is essential.

As Marketing Manager you will be responsible for promoting their brands through a variety of channels. This will include ensuring the websites meets their needs in terms of content and functionality, social media channels are maintained to a high degree, developing communications and marketing activities.

You will need demonstrable digital marketing experience, with strong analytical skills and the ability to collate information to ensure the marketing strategy is productive. You will have excellent communication and copy writing skills along with strong IT skills, significant knowledge of social media and B2B marketing.

You’ll be working with cutting edge CRM and CMS systems to deliver first class customer results. Whilst the core of your focus will be on digital, you will have the opportunity to work across offline projects too.

Typical tasks you’ll undertake include:
- Develop, enhance and maintain their website estate
- Develop engaging landing pages linked to SEO, PPC activity
- Convert design to build using HTML, CSS, JQuery, WordPress
- Ensure best practice for website structure and design for SEO compatibility
- Ensure all online product information and imagery is accurate and up to date.
- Setting up redirects for expired pages (404 errors)
- Deliver fresh design ideas in keeping with our brands
- Ad-doc design of emails, newsletters
- Dealing with on-site customer issues e.g. unable to register/login/purchase.
- Supporting customer services, including through channels such as social media
- Uploading blog and other content to the websites
- Answer telephone promptly and efficiently as and when required

A few things you’ll need…
- Solid experience within a similar role
- Fantastic Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign skills
- JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, HTML, CSS (PHP/SQL desirable)
- Passion for great front-end with a focus on performance and standards (W3C)
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Be highly organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
- Self-confidence plus the ability to influence and engage with colleagues.

Salary £20,000 to £30,000 depending on skills and experience.

20 days annual leave (includes shut down period between Christmas and New Year) plus bank holidays
Pension scheme.
