About Us:
This company is an established family owned business operating from the heart of the Norfolk countryside. They are seeking to recruit an experienced technician to join their fantastic team, supporting their drive for continued business growth.

The successful candidate will be supporting all technical requirements for the business with a heavy emphasis on working within the laboratory environment, as they test and develop efficient, high quality and innovative gluing solutions for use across multiple industries.

The successful applicant will be required to evidence previous experience in working technically with adhesives or related chemicals and must have had 1+ years of experience working within a lab environment.

The Role:
- Carry out regular inspections of incoming materials, ensuring all required specifications and labelling is being adhered to
- Regularly sample test incoming materials to ensure consistency and continued compliance to standards required from all our suppliers
- Support the Sales process through identification and testing of suitable products for new and existing customers. At times this could mean travelling to the customers UK site to support the Account Manager
- Support investigations into non-conformity of products raised by the customer. Applying effective root cause analyses techniques, with full documentation of the investigation through to conclusion
- As required, support the business in the ordering of raw materials and products from suppliers
- Manage the preparation and despatch of samples, with follow-up and confirmation of receipt
- Ensure all products are supported by a set of accurate Technical Data Sheets & Safety Data Sheets
- Control and administer incoming supplier COA's and ensures the COA's match incoming shipments
- Ensure the business environment and processes always fully comply with our ISO standards
- Take full ownership for the laboratory environment, ensuring a high standard of equipment upkeep is maintained at all times
- Establish yourself across our supplier and customer base as being a point of contact for technical queries regarding our products
- Keep abreast of industry changes to legislation or policies that will need to be considered
- Be a self-motivated, highly organised and tidy individual, who is always looking to over achieve against set targets
- Always look to install confidence and represent the company in a professional and polished manner. Being prepared to demonstrate our product capability via video when required
