Job Title: Ice cream Kiosk Supervisor
Locations: Hastings Seafront above the Source Park.
Reporting to: Source Park Management
Working hours: Various shift patterns between 0800 – 22:00, 5 days from 7 a week, Monday to Sunday including Bank Holidays.

This is a seasonal contract from March 2018 to September 2018 with a minimum weekly contracted hours of 20 from March to May riding to 40 throughout the summer months (plus overtime if required). This would suit someone looking to work a lot of hours over the Summer.

Responsibilities:
- To manage all aspects of the Kiosk operations. To supervise all incoming/outgoing stock and associated logistics and merchandising activities.
- To be responsible for all of the customer financial transactions conducted within the kiosk.
- The successful candidate will ensure all staff training is completed and that all staff are adhering the standards set including portions sizes
- To deliver an outstanding customer experience for all customers and visitors and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Duties and responsibilities:

- To ensure that the till balances on each shift along with leading by example regarding till management and the issuing of customer receipts
- To cash up the kiosk, ensuring all monies and card machine reports are put away in the correct place and accounted for as per company guidelines.
- To explain, delegate and manage replenishment, sales and merchandising tasks conducted by kiosk staff
- Implementing and maintaining all aspects of visual merchandising and kiosk displays
- Ensuring the kiosk is well stocked at an appropriate level for daily trade and stocked for the following day leading to stock replenishment via our deliveries
- To serve customers in a pleasant and courteous manner
- To ensure regular stock takes are completed accurately and any discrepancies are investigated and where relevant immediately reported to park management
- To develop and maintain a robust cleaning schedule ensuring all areas of the kiosk get cleaned periodically and maintain all food hygiene requirements.
- To maximise sales in the kiosk by ensuring we trade during appropriate hours maximising daylight hours and busy tourist periods

Personal Attributes::

- Outstanding customer service skills
- Previous experience of a customer service/retail role.
- Experience in managing / supervising staff in a retail setting.
- Cash handling and reconciliation experience.
- Well organised with good time keeping skills
- Polite and professional
- The ability to work independently and in a busy and pressurised retail environment combined with with the ability to lead a team and delegate responsibilities where required for maximum results
- The ability to use initiative and be flexible towards the job role
- Knowledge of food hygiene requirements as set out by the Food standards agency.
