This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing industry to be involved throughout the project Quality Assurance lifecycle. Role will comprise of producing detailed test plans and test scripts, performing manual and automated testing, and bug and issue tracking. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in software Quality Assurance within the payments industry.

On the job training and development will be provided to build the successful candidates skills and knowledge of Quality Assurance testing within the payments industry.

Principal Responsibilities

- Analysing client requirements for the purpose of defining the testing requirements.
- Advising on the scope of functionality requiring testing and the associated time and resource requirements.
- Production of test documentation such as test plans and test scripts / cases.
- Creation of test scripts on the available test tools and simulators.
- Conducting all types of testing including System, Skim, Regression, Functional, Stress, Unit, Integration, Certification and Client end to end testing.
- Recording of test results with appropriate evidence.
- Problem log management, from initial analysis through to resolution.
- Liaison with customers, both internal and external.
- Liaison with suppliers, both internal and external, to ensure successful resolution of issues found in testing.
- Peer reviewing of test documentation that has been produced.

- To ensure that the overall Quality Objectives of the Company in respect of carrying out job responsibilities are met.
- Post holder must comply with the current Security Policy.
- Post holder must understand the need for confidentiality when dealing with customer information.
- Understand and apply the appropriate departmental standards.
- Report progress to management.
- Other duties as may be required.
