Junior Software Developer
This company is a provider of customer experience management solutions globally. They are passionate about connecting businesses to their customers. Their multi-channel feedback solutions enable rapid operational recovery and deeper insight that drives improved customer experiences for some of the largest public attractions and facilities in the world, including Merlin Entertainments who operate Alton Towers, London Eye, Madame Tussauds (and another 100 attractions worldwide) and LAX, Houston and Atlanta Airport, the busiest airport in the world.
They are looking for ambitious junior software developer to join their existing team working on developing their core products.
You will work with experienced software developers on several features of their products and be involved in concept-to-delivery of high quality solutions to their end customers. You will also aid in testing and support of their current production code.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to absorb knowledge from those around them, ask the right questions to support their learning and contribute back to the projects they are working on either directly or by supporting other team members.
Essential skills for the role:
- Programming in an object orientated language
- Basic knowledge of storage – SQL, NoSQL etc.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Any experience with the specific technologies and patterns they use would be a benefit:
C#, Angular, SignalR, Mongo, SQL, RabbitMQ, TDD, Artificial Intelligence/Machine learning would be a benefit.
The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work in various disciplines of software development, including test, requirements analysis, design, code reviews and code debug.
They expect the candidate to have good fundamental development skills which can be transferred to any programming language and environment
