This is an opportunity to join a small business to business enterprise based at London Bridge employing around 14 people. They design, develop, manufacture and import cables and connectors for the communications industry. They need a bright outgoing personality with multi-tasking skills who can take charge of their daily book keeping and admin functions who can also assist with customer care and daily office routines
The position suits a commercially aware junior accounts person or apprentice who is an enthusiastic problem solver with an eye for detail and a methodical best practice approach to work. The successful candidate will report to an on-site office supervisor and off site accounts manager.
Bookkeeping duties up to trial balance will include;
- Sales Ledger/ Credit control
- Purchase/ Bought Ledger
- Foreign Payments
- Expenses
- Reconciliation and financial reporting
- Filing VAT returns
- Payroll
- P11D Directors returns
Minimum Computer Skills required include;
- Sage line 50 Financial Controller
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Outlook express
- Internet Explorer
