A 2nd line Role at this company is where the business IT work happens. Their 2nd lines will work on SME business networks and offer a high level of customer care. Additionally, working directly with the 1st line engineers to help train and guide them.

You will be rewarded with full trust and focus from the company and will be encouraged to train towards your own goals.

Responsibilities:

- Providing IT Troubleshooting via Telephone and remote support software
- 2nd line Escalation from front line support engineers
- Logging of changes and support using internal CRM
- Providing high level customer care and building relationships with customers
- Documenting changes and infrastructure

Core Skills required:

- Windows Operating Systems 7 / 8.1 and 10
- Windows Server experience
- Active Directory & Group Policy.
- VMware experience
- Networking knowledge
- Microsoft Office 365
- Desktop, Laptop & Printer troubleshooting
- Management of Firewalls, switches and routers.
- Experienced in resolving software and hardware related issues.
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent Communication Skills

Desirable Skills:
- Cloud Technologies – Azure, AWS.
- IT Security
- Microsoft Certifications such as MCSE or MCSA
- 3+ years’ experience previous experience within an IT Support role either internally or for an MSP
