This leading language study abroad organisation is recruiting for an International Sales Consultant. You will be responsible for promoting their worldwide language course portfolio to a wide audience base over the phone and via email. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with their international partners.

Reporting to: Head of Agency
As International Sales Consultant you will be
- Providing first class customer & sales service, striving to exceed customers’ expectations
- Delivering the entire client experience, from enquiry through to post trip follow up
- Converting international leads by telephone, Skype, chat and email
- Prioritising enquiries and providing a 4hr TAT to calls & emails from customers
- Understanding customers’ needs by asking the right questions
- Providing accurate and professional information and advice to clients based on their needs.
- Liaising with school partners from all over the world by telephone, Skype and email
- Engaging in pro-active sales approach through sourcing leads and managing projects to create additional lead generation channels
- Considering company and departmental targets when making decisions
- Applying cross-selling techniques where appropriate
- Aiming to exceed monthly sales targets
Marketing
- Provide marketing team with data and insights into quality of leads, regional hot-spots, conversion rates
- Provide information and suggestions for offers and promotions
- Create seasonal packages exclusive to this organisation
- Assisting in organisation of and attending trade shows at least twice per year, sometimes over a weekend or evening
Working as part of a team
- Share workload and information and assisting others when needed
- This may also involve assisting other departments when needed
- Representing the company
Skills & Qualities Required
- Target driven with natural sales flair
- Good business acumen and understanding of sales targets
- Excellent telephone manner & customer service
- Proficient in at least one other key European language, preferably two
- Excellent time management skills & focus on deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and stay calm
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Friendly, approachable and flexible
- Able to absorb feedback and apply changes accordingly
- Basic understanding of language travel market
- Passion for travel and languages
