Overview
An opportunity has come about within this division for an experienced hydraulic service engineer.
The work is based at their Leeds headquarters with a mixture of field based and workshop tasks.
This persons main responsibilities will be split between the main business areas of: -
- Metal recycling
- Refuse wagons
- Product manufacture and development
Metal Recycling
This company supply and change 3rd party filters to a number of sites throughout the UK. In addition to this oil sampling is completed and additional filters proposed and installed where required.
Main responsibilities are: -
- Agreed site visits adhering to all H&S requirements.
- Prepare short site visit notes.
- Change out of filter cartridges of various shape/sizes/applications
- Take oil samples for lab testing
- Discussing improvements using company branded product and filtration solutions.
- Working with the team to improve current operational systems, to lead to clearer and smoother operational working method.
- Gathering information on filtration queries and increasing understanding of customer applications.
This person will then become a key player in developing this contract method to other potential customers in the UK.
Refuse Wagons
They also supply and fit filtration systems to hydraulic systems installed on refuse wagon manufacturers throughout the UK. Main responsibilities within this area are: -
- Liaise with the customer to agree installation dates
- Assist in the installation of units to refuse wagons and other offline applications.
This role will require extensive travel though out the UK
