This HR & HS Consultancy company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Business Partner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your health and safety skills and join an established team. You will provide a variety of core Health and Safety services to a large and wide-ranging portfolio of clients.
To be successful you must be keen to develop your health and safety skills and have a commercial mindset. You must be able to work autonomously; work with clients from various industries and have the technical knowledge and experience. This role will require national travel.
Key Duties:
- To undertake Health and Safety audits on client sites; produce a report of the findings and highlight risks and how to implement a suitable health and safety management system;
- To advice on and undertake risk assessments on client sites;
- Draft Health and Safety manuals and policies and procedures;
- To develop and implement Health and Safety training programs to meet client needs;
- Work on ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other accreditation systems (such as CHAS, Achilles etc.) to support clients maintain and achieve their certification where applicable;
- Ensure commercially practical solutions are given, whilst explaining the risks and liabilities with associated solutions;
Skills and Experience:
- Be at least a Technician member of IOSH (Tech.IOSH);
- Have excellent technical health & safety knowledge
- Ideally 2 years experience in a health & safety role
- Ability to work to targets and KPI’s
