An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join their existing Distribution Team in North Shields.
You will work as part of a team to deliver outstanding customer service, building and maintaining essential customer relationships both internally and externally. At all times, maintain positive, helpful relationships with all customers and following training, in their systems, be prepared and able to assist customers with understanding the system and paperwork. Help them address any problems they encounter working in close communication and liaison with the Transport Manager/ Supervisor and the Help Desk.
Before moving your assigned vehicle inspect it and complete the green FTA Driver’s checklist. Give completed weekly FTA sheets and Taco graph record in an envelope supplied to Transport Manager. Load the vehicle with the manifest in the most efficient way to accommodate multi drop and pick-ups en route. Pay due care and attention to all customer restrictions, verbal or otherwise, for loading and pick up, completing delivery/pickup line paperwork as required
Hours of work will be agreed at interview.
Must have at least 1 years experience in role.
