As Head of Project Management you will:
- Lead a new team, managing a range of project types, complex business initiatives and change programmes
- Create and run the PMO ensuring all projects are delivered using a ‘best-practice’ Project Delivery Approach, meeting company values within agreed scope, time and cost and quality
- Own the governance of the Project Portfolio, methodologies / standards and management of the central project management resource as well as manage key programs / projects
- Provide leadership and development for the team
- Drive continuous improvement.
Skills and Experience:
- A recognised project management qualification (PMP, APMP, Prince2, PMI, P30 or equivalent)
- Significant experience at a senior level in a PMO function, ideally having set up a PMO
- Exceptional project management skills across a range of project types, complex business initiatives and change programmes
- Team management and leadership experience
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Relevant sector experience (manufacturing, automotive or construction)
- Capability to provide timely, accurate and relevant project and portfolio reporting as agreed.
Offering £60,000 to £70,000 plus bonus (10-16%) and a comprehensive benefits package.
There is flexibility in working hours, with the ability to work slightly longer days from Monday through Thursday and finish early (2pm) on Friday.
The role is located in Hull, you must hold a full driving license.
