Overlooking some of the best sailing waters in England, this Sailing Club provides an extensive sailing and social calendar, set in a glorious location. The restaurant has up to 55 covers inside plus a spectacular large balcony offering alfresco dining with exceptional views. You will be someone with a real passion for food who enjoys working in a fun and spirited environment.
You will provide lunch, dinner, bar snacks and the occasional breakfast to their members, guests and visiting yachts, ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the kitchen during their busy summer season. You will be encouraged to share ideas and concepts as if it were your own business and consult with the club treasurer to understand and maximise your transparent profit share arrangement. You will be responsible for organising kitchen staff rotas, training and development.
You will
- be an enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced Chef with a proven track record of running a professional kitchen.
- be proficient in creating and developing menus.
- be keen to build, develop and motivate your team to get the best results.
- Hold a full valid Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
Qualifications.
- Hold a full driving license.
- Be a good communicator
- Ordering and control of ingredients.
- Working to the budgeted GP where possible.
A seasonal six month contract £12.00 per hour plus tips.
Plus a Transparent Profit Share Agreement with a potential of £8000 to £10,000 .
They also offer an option to rent large two bedroom flat, with spectacular views of the Helford River, with a small riverside garden for £300 per month. Free allocated car parking space.
Rural location so own transport is essential.
