Ground-worker required for an expanding busy Specialist Automatic Gate & Barrier company covering London & the South East.
This is a varied and exciting role working on new and existing automatic gate and barrier system along with all associated access controls. The ideal candidate will have the ability to learn quickly, be organised and an effective communicator.
You will need to:
- Be enthusiastic and conscientious
- Physically fit.
- Have the ability to learn and retain information quickly
- Have a current CSCS card
- Have a full clean UK driver’s license
- Have some flexibility around working hours
- Have good personal organisational skills
- Have good communication & interpersonal skills
- Work well with others within a team.
- Have good attention to detail
- Have a willingness and ability to learn new equipment and skills.
- Be well spoken, presentable and polite to customers and colleagues
- Be able to work on your own initiative and within a team.
- Be honest and trust worthy
The role will include: installing posts, fencing, gates and barriers
Running ductwork & cables, block paving, tarmacking, trenching, concreting, setting out the site etc.
They are looking for someone with an infectious can-do attitude who likes working outdoors with an enthusiasm to tackle new challenges and an ability to find imaginative solutions.
This position is near to Ashurstwood, Crawley Down, Felbridge and Turners Hill.
