Job Title: Graduate SOLIDWORKS Application Engineer
Location: Abercynon, CF45
Salary: £18K to £20K - Dependant on Experience + Bonuses

This position is for a Value Added Reseller of Dassault Systèmes’ SOLIDWORKS software. Our client has offices in North & South Wales and specialises in providing leading 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology, offering customers a complete range of 3D software tools that let them create, simulate, publish, and manage their data. SOLIDWORKS products help the end user to design products better, faster and more cost effectively.

A reputable company, famed for their outstanding customer service and backed by the highly reputable and trusted SOLIDWORKS brand, have clients across much of Wales and England. They have an opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Graduate SOLIDWORKS Application Engineer, based at their South Wales office.

As part of the Technical Team you will be:
- Working with a broad range of customers who use SOLIDWORKS to design their products.
- Responding to the needs of customers to solve technical problems in using SOLIDWORKS .
- Training customers in the correct use of SOLIDWORKS products.
- Working with the Sales Team to accurately understand customers’ requirements.
- Progressing into product demonstrations of SOLIDWORKS to prospective customers.
- With being a small office environment, there would be other ongoing admin tasks.

It is essential that you have:
- The ability to work well in a team.
- Good communication/interpersonal skills and be well-dressed and groomed are essential.
- A professional attitude to work and a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- SOLIDWORKS software experience essential.

This position is suited to a graduate who has either completed their degree in the last two or three years, or about to complete their degree this year in either Product Design or Mechanical Engineering.
A completed third year industrial placement would also be desirable.

Full comprehensive SOLIDWORKS product training will be given to the successful candidate by SOLIDWORKS Certified Engineers.
