They are looking for an honours Graduate with at least a 2:2 who is interested in developing a career as a Quantity Surveyor. Aspiring to become a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, after a successful probation period you will be required to undertake a funded part time Postgraduate MSc course in Quantity Surveying which leads you towards the RICS APC. (Ideal entry period September 2018 over 2 years at a recognised University).

Key responsibilities

- Commitment to completing the RICS accredited Master’s Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Commitment to completing the RICS assessment of Professional Competence
- Develop a good understanding of Building, Planning, CDM regulations, Party wall Act
- Develop a knowledge of Construction techniques
- Assist colleagues in all aspects or pre and post contract administration and stock data processing
- Working with colleagues to ensure that projects are designed, constructed and completed in accordance with Clients requirements, to cost, quality and within required timescales
- Working with colleagues to ensure smooth & timely handover of new properties and the associated documentation.
- Assist in managing the Contractors, Consultants, Clerk of Works and Colleagues on site and to process property data in specialist software systems.

About you

- Be numerate with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Be able to demonstrate sound methodical and organisational skills able to prioritise workload
- Be flexible and able to be part of a team or work on your own
- Be able to access all areas of a construction site
- Clean driving licence and car available for work
