The General Manager will deliver against agreed KPI’s, targets and objectives for the company and is responsible for building and maintaining a high performing management team. You will have strong leadership, management and people skills that have been used extensively in senior roles in a soft services multi-site environment.
They need you to provide awe inspiring leadership and possess a desire to succeed and to develop and champion a team that excels. Also, to create a team ethos that delivers excellent customer service and to identify, prioritise and win bid opportunities.
Skills & Experience:
- Educated to degree level.
- A minimum of five years experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional experience in the provision of grounds maintenance services.
- Minimum of 5 years proven success in managing high performing GM contracts.
- Experience in delivering change within an SME environment.
- Knowledge of H & S legislation and HR legislation.
- Excellent and proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
- Proven ability in successful bid writing and tender pitches to clients.
- Excellent people management and team building skills.
- Vision to drive the business through a 1, 3 & 5 year plan.
£45000 - £50000 depending on experience. Benefits package to be outlined at interview stage.
The role will be largely based in Surrey but the successful applicant will be expected to travel to client locations as required or as directed.
