An established business based South of Norwich requires a highly motivated Finance Assistant to join their dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As a Finance Assistant you will offer comprehensive support to the finance team with a key focus on accuracy and speed with an analytical mind at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Finance Manager and Finance Director with analysis of the company’s accounting transactions and performance
- Assisting with multiple and varied information requests received from operating an international business
- Purchase ledger processes, including invoice processing and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Assisting with daily bank reconciliations and accounting entries
- Assisting with the identification and implementation of process improvements for the department.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the business

- Confidence in communication and the ability to summarise key points
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues across various departments
Qualifications and Experience:
- AAT qualified
- Strong IT skills, including Excel experience of pivot tables and Vlookups
- Previous experience within a busy finance department is preferred
- Training in an Accountancy Practice background would be preferred
- Previous experience in dealing with foreign currency and accounting entries for this is preferred
