This is an opportunity to join a Structural & Architectural Steel Fabrication firm based near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
Experienced Site Fitter/Site Supervisor – Structural & Architectural Metalwork
Must have experience in reading drawings, fabrication and site work in various aspects of metalwork, ranging from buildings to balustrades.
Experience in stick and tig welding is essential.
Ability to polish stainless steel would be an advantage
The suitable candidate will be self-motivated and able to work without supervision and to strict deadlines
Previously worked within a similar role and environment and will demonstrate a high level of Health &
Safety awareness with site working, and must follow company and site safety rules, regulations and procedures
Good communication and organisational skills are essential.
Must be capable of regular physically demanding work, including occasional working at heights.
- Clean driving licence
- CSCS in this field of works essential
- Manual Handling, PASMA, Harness training, Abrasive wheels would be an advantage, however, training will be given.
Competitive rate of pay dependant on experience
Company based in Peterborough, candidate must be prepared to travel to and from sites in company vehicle.
