This company is a unique electronic product design business specialising in design, software, prototype and production. They work with a wide range of customers ranging from local inventors and entrepreneurs, to SME’s, academic institutions and international corporations.

They are looking for a skilled, proactive and enthusiastic Electronic Production Engineer to join their highly successful Production Team. This is an exciting opportunity that will give the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their existing skill set whilst learning new skills on the job.

You will be responsible for delivering all PCB assemblies, cable harnesses and box build assembly. This will involve manual and automated surface mount and through-hole assembly. Some mechanical assembly experience would be beneficial.

You’ll be a pivotal part of the team delivering high quality products to their customers. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring that all products comply with IPC, ESD and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standards.

The successful candidate will have experience in production processes such as:
- Automated and manual SMT assembly
- Through-hole assembly
- Testing procedures
- Rework procedures
- Surface mount hand modifications
- Reflow techniques
- Cable assembly
- Mechanical assembly

And have:
- Completed a relevant degree level course and have 2 years' experience; Or;
- A minimum of 4 years experience
- Experience with Bills of Materials
- Ability to manage your own workload
- Ability to prioritise and multitask in a logical manner
- Ability to work to tight timescales and project deadlines
