This is an exciting, rare opportunity to join a family run Cheshire tool hire company working with a wide range of machines running on 110v and 3 phase as well as petrol and diesel.
There are two situations available, one as a 2nd year level two NVQ and the second as a 3rd year level 3 NVQ or equivalent in terms of time served engineering experience.
You will need to have a solid engineering background with an aptitude for detail, precision and exactitude, not prone to mistakes; with precise and methodical record keeping. You'll need to multi-task, prioritise and work to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will need to work both as part of a close knit team and also alone using their own initiative.
Each day will be challenging with no two days the alike, such is the wide range of machines and equipment that you'll be working with. Not just routine maintenance but also fault diagnosis, through to full strip down and refurb.
You'll either need to be accomplished in electrical circuitry, testing and fault diagnosis, servicing, repair and refurb, precision engineering and welding, or work and train hard towards that achievement. These roles are exciting with scope to learn and improve with a good training package and day release if required.
You'll quickly progress to a management role, liaising with the workshop manager and directors who are very supportive towards a common objective.
