Setup in 1991, it has grown to be become one of the most highly regarded laboratories in the UK. Calibration Services now offered include Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Pressure, Torque, Dimensional, Force, Temperature and Humidity.
The Role
They are looking for an experienced Electrical Calibration Engineer familiar with all aspects of ISO17025 and with management of an Electrical Calibration Laboratory or have the ability to step into a management role within the company.
Deliver agreed schedules of work to sustain productivity & efficiency, Calibrating electrical and temperature/ humidity measurement equipment working to correct standards and Company procedures and become a certified UKAS signatory. Carry out onsite calibration work when required
Key Responsibilities
The Calibration engineer/laboratory manager must have the appropriate qualifications and / or proven laboratory experience relevant to the job role.
- Ensuring the effective operation of the laboratory
- Laboratory personnel training records
- Effective and accurate internal reporting of Laboratory findings
- Ensure Laboratory Standards are calibrated within allotted schedule
Salary and Benefits circa £30k
