What is the role?
We are looking for a digital advisor confident in delivering targeted digital and e-commerce advice businesses to increase their revenue and turnover.

This role can be based in either their Hatfield or Cambridge offices to suit the successful candidate.

What will you be doing?
- Providing specialist assistance to businesses to help them exploit their international online and IT potential, improving in-house digital skills and awareness; supporting development into new overseas markets either through an owned website solution or other digital routes to market.
- Supporting local or national e-commerce through presenting at or helping with digital awareness seminars and/or workshops.
- Building relationships with key local partners such as the LEPs and Innovation networks.
- Producing customer meeting follow-up notes within the required timescale and updating records of all client interactions on the internal CRM system.
- Working closely with and developing relationships with private sector experts, consultants, private-industry thought leaders in cross-border ecommerce to help provide end-to-end services to DIT clients.

Who are you?
You will have strong knowledge and experience of the following:
- digital marketing
- search engine optimisation
-social media, social-commerce and social listening
- e-commerce best practice
- mobile marketing
- website analytics and data analysis;

You should have proven recent experience of working in an e-commerce/digital capacity providing advice along with a proven track recording of working in successful project teams.

Experience of business development and advisory work is essential as well as good knowledge of international e-commerce trade and the Government’s Digital Export Strategy for the UK Retail industry.
